In a pitot tube pump the rotor case spins the liquid into a fast-moving ring. The stationary pick-up tube sits in that ring with its inlet facing the flow, collects the liquid and converts its velocity into discharge pressure.

Pick-up tubes are made from 17-4PH stainless steel as standard, the grade most commonly used for pick-up tubes. Duplex stainless steel or other materials can be supplied to suit the liquid and your specification.
Castings and machined blanks are held in stock, so non-stock models can be finished to the required dimensions without starting from raw material.
